Organo Gold Coffee Recipes
Mocha Cheese Cake
- 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 packets Gourmet Organo Gold Healthy Coffee
- 1 packet Gourmet Organo Gold Mocha
- 2 eggs
- 1 graham cracker crust
- 8 ounces of semisweet chocolate
Directions:
- Melt Chocolate in Double Boiler
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, 6oz of melted chocolate and Gourmet Coffee & Mocha at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, mix until blended.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake at 350° F for 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cook and refrigerate 3 hours. (Place pan filled with 1 inch of water on bottom shelf while cooking to keep cheesecake moist.)
- drizzle remaining melted chocolate on top
Banana Cherry Smoothie
Serves 2
3 small frozen bananas (peel before you freeze)
2 cups frozen dark sweet cherries
2 cups chocolate soy milk
2 pkg. Gourmet Organo Gold Latte or Mocha Healthy Coffee
Ingredients:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on puree or high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into glasses and serve.
Iced Healthy Coffee
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 Cup Vanilla Soy Milk or (Regular Milk with 1 Tbsp of Vanilla Extract)
1 pkg. Gourmet Black, Gourmet Latte or Gourmet Mocha Organo Gold Healthy Coffee
6 Ice Cubes
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on puree or high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into glasses and serve. This was everyone’s favorite at the first Buffalo Healthy Coffee Day!
Super Antioxidant Cranberry Iced Tea
- Boil Water in your favorite teapot
- Brew 1 or 2 bags of Ganoderma Organo Gold Green Tea in the hot water to your desired strength.
- Sweeten, if desired but not necessary.
- Chill
- Add one part 100% Cranberry Juice and two parts brewed chilled tea.
- Serve over Ice.
Makes Plenty to Share.
Cappuccino Bon Bons
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. brownie mix (13×9 in)
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 Packets Black Gourmet Organo Gold Healthy Coffee
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Blend all ingredients. Fill mini-muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake at 350° F for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy!
Oreo Truffle Balls
Oreo Truffle Balls
- - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- - 16 ounces Oreos, broken into quarters
- - 2 Packets of Healthy Gourmet Organo Gold Black Coffee
- - Enough best quality white, milk or dark chocolate chopped to measure about 2 cups
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese for a couple minutes to smooth out. Add in just over 1/2 of the broken Oreos and coffee, then mix until thoroughly combined. Add in the rest of the Oreos and mix just until combined – some bigger pieces are ok.
Cover bowl and chill for at least 2-3 hours. Scoop out dough with a heaping teaspoon and roll into 50-60 balls. Cover and place back in the refrigerator to firm up.
Slowly melt the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring occasionally, until most of the chunks are smooth. Remove and stir to melt the rest of the chocolate. Dip each truffle ball and set aside on a Silpat or parchment paper. If the chocolate mixture starts to firm up, place back over the double boiler to slowly remelt, or gently rewarm in the microwave. Store in the refrigerator after all are dipped.
Mocha Marble Cake
Ingredients:
- - 3 pkt. Gourmet Black Organo Gold Healthy Coffee mix
- - 1 pkt. super moist yellow cake mix (18 oz.)
- - 3 tbs. hot water
Directions:
- Follow package directions on cake mix box and the Organo Gold Coffee. Pour mixture in 2 round cake pans.
- Bake according to cake mix package directions.
- Frost with a Mocha or Chocolate Icing
- Sprinkle with shaved chocolate
- Enjoy your marble cake with your favorite healthy coffee.
Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients:
- - 3 whole Oranges with the peels sliced into quarts
- - 1/2 lb. fresh or frozen strawberries
- - 3 peeled bananas
- - 4 Ganoderma Capsules
- - 1 teaspoon Ginger
- - 2 handfuls of ices cubes
- - 16 ounces ice water
Directions:
Add all ingredients to blender and blend
Organo Gold Ganoderma Green Tea Popsicles
Popsicle Molds
2 cups of Organo Gold Ganoderma Green Tea, cooled
2 tablespoons of honey
1 cup mixed fruit (peaches, mango, watermelon, strawberries)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation:
Combine green tea, honey, fruit, and lemon juice into a blender; blend until smooth.
Add ingredients into Popsicle molds and freeze for 8 hours.
Healthy Iced Mocha
Makes 2 servings. About 130 calories per serving
1 packet Organo Gold Gourmet Mocha
1.5 cups skim milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. sugar
2 cups crushed ice
Mix everything in a blender or food processor. Serve and enjoy!
Iced Honey Coffee
Makes 4 Servings
A creamy iced coffee, naturally sweetened with honey. Nothing says summer like the taste of fresh honey. This recipe is only lightly flavored with coffee, so it’s not too overpowering.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of any Organo Gold instant coffee
1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup cold water
1 quart milk
1 cup ice cubes
Preparation:
Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water. Stir in honey and mix well. Add cold water, and pour over ice in glasses. Top of with milk.
Iced Coffee
Makes 2 servings
1/2 cup warm water
2 teaspoons of any Organo Gold instant coffee
1 tray ice cubes
1/2 (5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, divided
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
Directions:
In a small bowl, stir together the water and instant coffee. In a blender, combine ice cubes, coffee mixture, milk, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Death from the Kettle
Serves 1
A glorious mix of chocolate, malt and coffee. The perfect chocolate indulgence that’s not quite as heavy as a milk shake, but is still chilly and creamy
Ingredients:
6 tsp any of Organo Gold instant coffee
2 tsp malt powder
3 tsp Organo Gold Hot Chocolate
1 tbs chocolate ice cream
milk
Preparation:
Put the powders in the bottom of a tall glass. Add a little boiling water, just enough to turn the powders into a thick paste. Fill the rest of the glass with milk, then mix in the ice cream.
Creamy Iced Coffee
6-8 Servings
Ingredients
1 1/2 quarts of any Organo Gold instant coffee, room temperature
1 cup milk
1 cup half-and-half cream
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons crème de cacao
Directions
In a pitcher, combine cooled coffee, milk and half-and-half. Stir in sugar, vanilla and crème de cacao. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Lemon Café
2-3 Servings
A tangy and unusual blend of coffee and lemons. Orange isn’t the only citrus that goes well with coffee. Lemon is particularly crisp for an iced coffee.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of any Organo Gold instant coffee
2 oz lemon sherbet
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tsp sugar
Preparation:
Combine everything and blend until smooth. Serve in a chilled glass.
Coffee ‘n Cream Brownies
16 Servings
1/2 c. butter or margarine, cubed
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2/3 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
FILLING:
1 TBSP heavy whipping cream
1 tsp Organo Gold Black Coffee
2 TBSP butter or margarine, softened
1 c. confectioners’ sugar
GLAZE:
1 c. (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. heavy whipping cream
Directions
In a microwave melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a small bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla; stir in the chocolate mixture. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to chocolate mixture.
Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not over bake). Cool on a wire rack.
For filling, combine cream and Organo Gold Black Coffee in a small bowl; stir until coffee is dissolved. In a small bowl, cream butter and confectioners’ sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in coffee mixture; Spread over brownies.
In a small saucepan, combine chips and cream. Cook and stir over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is thickened. Cool slightly. Carefully spread over filling. Let stand for 30 minutes or until glaze is set. Cut into squares. Store in the refrigerator.
